I have long admired the work of the Dutch, 17th century, painter, Rembrandt. His use of darkly dramatic tone described as ‘chiaroscuro’ and his expressive style often captured his subject’s personality, bringing his own emotions into his self portraits. I have created my tribute from over 4000 British definitive used postage stamps to create a vibrant mosaic of resilience and reflection.
