Following on from Lichtenstein’s tradition, I’ve used hard flat, vivid colour and hand painted Benday dots. Strong black outlines support simplified shapes in true Pop Art tradition. Humour is created in the profile and features of the goldfish smiling while a sense of time is introduced by a fallen flower petal.
